Our Guide to Buying Women's Shoe and Getting the Right Size!

Women’s Shoes Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8..

What’s your size?
Women’s UK size 3 is a USA size 5

Women’s UK size 4 is a USA size 6

In the UK the average shoe size for women is a size 8 swiftly followed by a size 6. That’s a whole size in between! Proving just how different we all are. But it’s not just us that vary, shoe manufacturers differ too. And when you factor in the difference in UK and USA sizes (there is usually at least one American brand in stock) it can all get very confusing! But not to worry, here at Mr.Shoes we aim to make your shoe shopping experience an enjoyable one.
Your first step is to find out what your average size is. You can use a chartor go into store to get yourself measured. They will measure the length of your foot and decide from there what size should fit you best.

Remember most people’s feet are slightly different sizes, some people differ by a whole half size!
Your next step is to pick out some shoe styles you like and put them on! Try to make them different. Heels, flats, trainers, open toe etc.

As your feet vary, so do the shoe styles!

For example, you may find yourself going down a size in sandals and heels but up a size in pumps and espadrilles.
Brands also play a part.

Toms original espadrilles are a great example because they are one of the most comfortable flats I’ve ever owned, but I had to go up a size and now they fit perfectly.

They are also an American brand, which means a UK size 6 is a USA size 8. So I ended up going home with a 9!However with the new Fashion London Army Military boots, a size down (size 5 for me) fit like a glove. One of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn!

So your best bet is to do some personal research and find what suits you!
And if you’re shopping for a style you haven’t worn before, go ahead and ask for two sizes, just to be sure!
